So Much To Do At Land Rover Burghley….

2019 Activities will be announced nearer the event; see below for a flavour of what was on offer in 2018:

Land Rover Experience

Based on the South side of the Lake throughout each day of the event, the Land Rover Experience gives visitors the thrill of being driven in one of the latest Land Rover vehicles over dynamic display equipment. Carefully designed obstacles have been created to push the off-road capabilities to the absolute limit, showcasing what it’s like to climb steep slopes, wade through deep water and much more…

Musto Cross Country Simulator

Want to show off your riding ability? Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and Musto partner together to give spectators the ride of a lifetime on a bespoke simulator featuring six to eight testing fences from a previous Land Rover Burghley Cross Country course.

The Musto Mare is located behind the South Stand of the grandstand near the World of the Horse Pavilion and Lion Bridge and  operates throughout each day of the Event. Participants are in the saddle for approximately 10 minutes including a verbal briefing on how to ride the simulator. For those with a competitive spirit, the top three riders of the simulator each day will be in with a chance to win a fantastic prize provided by Musto.

Rides are free but we expect high demand so make sure you book your place when you arrive on the showground.

All ages were very welcome to test their sense of direction in the maze but children 12 and under had to be accompanied by an adult. Bring the family and challenge them to see whose sense of direction is best!

A short walk from the Country Living Makers Marquee. Children aged 3 and over were invited to have their face painted free of charge by our friendly and experienced artists from D & D Creative Faces. As usual, we were delighted to see lots of princesses, butterflies and superheroes walking around at Land Rover Burghley!
