William Fox-Pitt – Josh Peacock spoke with William Fox-Pitt after he and his horse Fernhill Pimms, who is competing in his first 4 star competition, tied the lead with a score of 34.2.
England 2003 Rugby world Cup winning hero Jason Robinson has been at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and spoke to Rupert Bell about why he came to the event.

Niklas Bschorer – Joshua Peacock caught up with Niklas Bschorer after the German, who is the youngest competitor at Burghley this year, scored 39.2. The score leaves him in third after day one.

Rosalind Canter – Joshua Peacock spoke with local rider Rosalind Canter after her fantastic score of 40.2 in what is both her and her horse’s first ever appearance at a 4 star event. Rosalind’s score leaves her in fourth position after day one and sees her finish Thursday as the top British rider.
Andrew Hoy – Joshua Peacock spoke with the two times champion after he made a fantastic start on board Rutherglen scoring 37.8. Andrew’s score leaves him in second place overnight on day one.
