TRAFFIC UPDATE FOR THE LAND ROVER BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS
Press release – Friday 2 September 2011
Visitors travelling to The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials from the south should be aware that the A1 is closed between Junction 17 and the Wansford A47 Junction. Please note both these junctions are open.
There will be diversionary routes in place. We would advise that people allow extra time for their journey or plan an alternative route.
We will keep you posted on developments as soon as we have any information but please listen to local radio reports and visit local traffic and travel websites.
It is anticipated that the A1 will be open by 12.00 hours Saturday 3 September 2011.
