Stay At The Heart Of The Event

The Dairy sits on the Burghley Estate in the heart of Capability Brown parkland, landscaped during the 1760s.  After careful restoration, this historic building has been transformed into beautiful holiday accommodation with all the luxurious comforts of modern life provided.  Wherever possible, original features from the Dairy have been kept and reused along with some antique paintings, prints and furniture from Burghley House.  Award winning designer, Thomas Hamel, has created spectacular dining and living spaces to allow guests a fantastic “away from home” experience.

The Dairy is comprised of two wings named Cecil Cottage and Exeter Cottage, making it ideal for a group of friends or family to enjoy watching Land Rover Burghley. The front lawn is on the edge of the world famous Cross Country track with the Dairy Mound Steps just a stone’s throw from the front garden providing excellent views for those keen to keep an eye on how the competitors will deal with the difficult combination jump. Staying at the Dairy will allow you and your party to be within the ring fence of the event (so you can have friends back for a cuppa or bubbles during the day!)

The Dairy sleeps 14 adults and 6 children very comfortably all with their own bathrooms. The dining rooms and drawing room will seat 20 people in comfort and style.  The two kitchens are prepped and ready so that if you want to cook for the week you can, or alternatively a selection of locally recommended caterers can be recommended to look after your needs for the week.

The Dairy booking comes complete with 14 adult tickets and Members badges for the four days of Land Rover Burghley.  Children 12 and under, when accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge to the event and do not require a badge to use the Members’ Enclosure.  (Please note that these Members badges do not admit to the Main Arena (tickets to Dressage and Show Jumping are separate).
