ALL SYSTEMS GO

Everything is on track for a great day at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. Despite the closure of the A1, between the A47 at Wansford and junction 17 for the A1M, all traffic is currently flowing freely including that on the specified diversions towards the park. Please follow the signs. It is anticipated that the A1 will re-open at midday. Please keep tuned to local radio stations.

The weather is currently cool with a hint of precipitation but once the cloud disperses is forecast to be another fine and dry day, warm with a good deal of sunshine and a maximum temperature of 22 degrees C

All eighty combinations after the dressage are set to go forward to today’s cross-country.
Australian Sam Griffiths and Happy Times will be the trailblazers and they leave the start box at 11.00hrs.
