SPORT HORSE STALLIONS ON PARADE

Eighteen British-based and two German-based graded sport horse stallions will be parading at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on Friday (4 September). The parade organised by the Lead Body for British Performance Sport Horses and Ponies (the PSHP) takes place in Ring Two during the break between the four and five-year-old Burghley Dubarry Young Event Horse finals. The parade includes competing stallions such as the German-bred three-star Trakehner Grafenstolz, former international show jumper Kannan, Selle Francais Quattro B, British Thoroughbred eventers Up With The Lark and Revolution as well as dressage and Anglo Arab stallions.

The full list of stallions taking part in the parade are:
Competing event sires: Up With The Lark – a nine-year-old Thoroughbred by Welton Apollo (ridden by Michael Jackson); Take It 2 The Limit – nine-year-old Selle Francais by half-bred Selle Francais Gaub (Jeanette Brakewell); Marco du Fot – nine-year-old Selle Francais by the Anglo Arabian Iago C (Nick Gauntlett); All That Jazz – 10-year-old Anglo Arab by the Arab sire SS City Lights (Dan Jocelyn); Wish Upon A Star – six-year-old by Trakehner sire Gribaldi (Michael Jackson); Grafenstolz – 11-year-old Trakehner and a former winner of the world breeding championships by grand prix stallion Polarion (Liz Diegutis); nine-year-old Brandenberger Chilli Morning by the Thoroughbred Phantomic (Nick Gautlett); Revolution – 15-year-old Thoroughbred by Suave Dancer (Lucinda Broad).
Trakehner stallions: Singing Horatio – a British bred six-year old by Arentino (Laura Keatinge); Garuda K- eight-year-old by German elite grand prix stallion Munchausen (Malcolm Holthausen).
Dressage stallions: Wolkenderry – four-year-old by Wolkentanz (Sarah Higgins); Classic Juan – nine-year-old Hanoverian by Crazy Classic (Victoria Rayment); Woodlander Wesuvio – five-year-old performance tested British-bred stallion by Walentino (Simon Grieve).
Part and full bred Irish stallions: Ballinmore Irish Rebel – five-year-old Irish Draught stallion by Grade A jumper Rebelara (Mandy Meer); Primitive Star - 11-year-old SHB(GB) graded stallion by Thoroughbred Primitive Rising out of Irish Draught mare by Gort Boy (Craig Millard).
The Anglo Arabs stallions Romarnic Ranger – six-year-old premium part-bred Arab by Anglo Arab Fairlyn Gemini (Nicola Nash); the 13-year-old spottted Appaloosa Centaur Jolly Jack by Rivaz Limerick (Tim Seaton Dobson).
German based 19-year-old sire Quattro B by Qredo de Paulstra (Lars Laugermann) and his four-year old son Quarterline (Jeanette Brakewell) and the Dutch bred former International jumper show Kannan – a 17-year old by Voltaire (Tig Hammond).
