YORKSHIRE RIDERS ARE SMARTEST
Pfizer, manufacturer of the well known equine wormer Strongid™-P, presented prizes for ‘the best turned out rider’, at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. The competition was judged at both horse inspections and resulted in Yorkshire riders Heidi Woodhead gaining the prize at the first inspection on Wednesday and Burghley first timer Tracey Garside was awarded the prize at the final inspection on Sunday morning.
Sadly Heidi withdrew The Biz from The Land Rover Horse Trials after the dressage however Tracey, a freelance instructor from Harrogate went on to achieve her first four-star completion with the 17hh dun, Dunauger, one of two 17hh horses in the competition.
Both riders received a bag of equine wormers – just in time for an autumn double-dosing of their horses for tapeworm.
