Just after 14.00hrs in the main arena at The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, former British team horse Over To You, the ride of Jeanette Brakewell will enter the main arena at a three-day-event for the last time.
‘Jack’ who with Jeanette has the largest number of medals won by a team horse is to be officially retired from competition today.

The 20-year-old has been ridden by Jeanette for the last 16 years. Together the pair has won; four European team gold medals,two Olympic team silver medals, one World team bronze medal, and in 2000 an individual World silver medal. They have also finished in the top ten at Badminton on five occasions and together hold the record for the most Badminton by the same combination. Due to his team commitments Jack has only competed at Burghley on once when he was seventh.

Jack has continued to compete this year and at their last event together the pair was 13th at the Tattersalls three-star in Ireland in June.
