Julian or ‘Jules’ as she is known, owns Headley Stud in Berkshire, where Mark Todd, her trainer, is also based. American-born Jules has been competing in the UK for about five years and has built up a string of much-admired top horses including her Burghley ride, the striking black mare Chapel Amble, who was produced to four-star level by Nick Gauntlett.

This will be a first visit to Burghley for Jules, who earlier this year completed her first four-star at Luhmuhlen with Chapel Amble.
