British-based Australian Brook Staples has a wealth of experience at four-star level. He scored his most notable results with Tom Attwood’s brilliant jumper Master Monarch, with whom he finished fourth at Badminton in 2000 and seventh at Burghley two years later. The pair represented Australia at the Sydney Olympics.

He is renowned for his talent in producing young horses and produced the 2008 British Novice Champion DHI Vitesse from a youngster to finish third at last year’s Blenheim 8/9yo CIC***.

Brook is based in Edenbridge, Kent, where he rides horses for various owners, including top dressage trainer Sarah Whitmore, who owns Tova. Brook also hosts clinics and teaches clients of all abilities.
