James Robinson

James is a practising vet based near Leominster in Hereford who combines eventing with his profession. He has secured his best results at the top level with Comanche, who was bought as a four-year-old from Sean and Sally Parkyn, The pair has completed Badminton six time, finishing 6th this year, but have had less good fortune at Burghley – starting 7 times and completing just twice. In 2006 they were British team reserves for the WEG.

James is married to Kate and the couple has three children.

James’ favourite holiday destination is the Lake District because there are plenty of good walks, lots of pubs and no mobile phone reception.
