Sussex based Emily is the winner of the U16, U18, U21 and U25 National Championships. She has ridden on eight consecutive Youth European Championship teams, winning six gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

In 2006 Emily won the Pony Club Championships with the Dutch-bred Pardon Me and in 2008 the pair were European Young Rider Champions. In 2009 they won the Under-25 Championships at Bramham and then won team gold and individual bronze at the Young Rider European championship in Belgium.

That same year (2009) Emily was the British National University Champion and completed Badminton as the youngest rider winning the prize for highest placed ‘first timer’ and highest placed rider ‘Under-25’ and subsequently was the 2009 BE winner of the Edy Goldman Trophy (awarded to the rider under-21 gaining the most points during the year). She ended the year being voted Sussex Sports ‘young sports personality of the year’.

Emily has a degree in Business and Management from Sussex University.

Emily’s mother Cindy (nee Harris) is a former competitor and a BE accredited trainer. She has completed Badminton and was second at Burghley and show jumped at top level.

Greenlawn Sky High, owned by Mrs Cindy Llewellyn and Mrs Nicolette Gidley Wright, is a 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse by the international show jumper Aldatus Z out of a mare by the ISH Laughton’s Flight – Burghley 2013 will be his first 4* event.

Major Buck is a 15-year-old dun Irish Sport Horse by the German-bred, Irish-based palomino Morgangold Major out of a thoroughbred mare by Buckskin. Major Buck previously completed Burghley in 2009 with Jeanette Brakewell.
