Laurence is a professional rider based in Ashby Magna, Leicestershire.

In 2002 Laurence acquired the ride on the advanced horse Proud Ginger with whom he made his Badminton debut in 2004. He now also has the advanced ride On Q For Gold with who he completed Boekelo last year.

Phoebus is a Thoroughbred by Blaze O Gold out of Greenham Gal by Cruise Missile. He was bought from Tiny Clapham as a seven-year-old who produced him to Intermediate level.
