Joy Dawes

Joy, from Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, dedicates her life to starting young horses in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping and eventing. Joy has produced Finnisterre and Harbour Pilot C to advanced level, while another of her ex-eventers, Deal Clover, is now 19 years old and competing in Prix St Georges and Intermediate I dressage.

Joy and Finnisterre are previous winners of the Derby House Intermediate Championship and the pair enjoyed a sensational Badminton debut earlier this year, finishing 42nd.

Joy is trained by Roger Gregory and Ian Woodhead for dressage and Ernest Dillon for show jumping.
