Dag’s eventing career began in his homeland, Sweden, where he won the Junior National title in 1987. Shortly after this he moved to the UK and began competing here. 1n 1996 Dag gained his first major selection, for the Atlanta Olympics. Since then he has been on the Swedish squad for many European and World Championships, the most recent being the Hong Kong Olympics, where he rode the youngest horse in the field, the eight-year-old Tubber Rebel.
Dag and his partner, Liz, run a yard in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Dag is also an accredited trainer.
